Territorial Marsh Wren

Marsh Wrens are secretive birds. They breed in cattail marshes, and usually remain out of sight, even when singing. This male was singing on territory, and climbed a cattail to scope out his competition singing ten feet away. These birds sing all day and even throughout the night.
