Storm at Sunset

While camping in Northern Maine on Pockwockamus Lake, a thunderstorm formed over Mount Ketahdin just as the sun was setting. On the right of the frame you can actually see the rain falling over Mount Ketahdin. Also, if you look very closely on the right side of the frame in full view, you can actually see that a tiny bit of snow is left on top of Mount Kitahdin. While watching this storm I was bitten by at least twenty mosquitoes, but it was worth it. I've never seen a thunderstorm take on the color of the sunset before. The lighting cutting through a bright orange sky was a bizarre thing to see.
