Mountain Storm

While camping in Northern Maine, a late spring thunderstorm formed over Mount Ketahdin around sunset. The combination of very heavy rain and the great sunset was a very cool thing to see. If you look very closely through the rain, you can still see some snow left on top of the mountain. Ketahdin is Maine's highest peak, and being the furthermost east point in the country, it is the first place in the United States each morning to receive sunlight.
