The final round of Senior announcements for 2009!

A lone fisherman walked the beach at 6:15 am (I know it says 5:15, I forgot to jump the time ahead for daylight savingings). It was a pretty amazing sunrise, most definitely worth losing sleep over. I positioned the fisherman directly in the reflection of the sun. Aside from the sound of the waves, it was so quiet that the fisherman heard the shutter of my camera, and turned around smiling. I talked to him for a little while, and showed him the few pictures I had taken of him. I got his e-mail address and sent him this photo.

Critiques
Just the red waves slamming onto the shore, and the anonomous shade of a fisherman. It almost seems as though the fisherman was just cut out of a picture on the sea, but this is just amazing. Right place, right time, with the obvious great skills you possess.
In an odd way, it also shows us that the ocean is larger than we will ever be. Just the infinite water going outside of the photograph.
Oh how this is an amazing picture. Mad kudos to you!
This picture actually wanted me to write my first critique.
I think this is a brilliant shot! The whole picture is very sharp, I am in particular impressed with the detail which remained in the sillouete. Also the waves are "frozen" so you can actually see the fine detail in their surface when you look close enough - nice!
The red waves almost look like lava and it gives a very nice frame to the Fisherman. I like the way the bottom part of the picture is black, it looks like he is standing on some kind of platform, which has quite a big impact with the "lava flow" ahead of him.
The reflection of the sun in the water gives the water an alternate texture in the right side of the picture from the left which is very beautiful!
Overall I gotta say full points, this is a magnificent shot! Well done!
