Another one of the first species to migrate through in the spring, the Palm Warbler can put on a fantastic display of catching insects in flight. With bright yellow and a chestnut crown, the spring plumage on the eastern subspecies is fantastic; however, when they return south again in the fall, they are drab. With green returning to the landscape, it's nice to finally have some color to the background.
